IN THE CLASSROOM our students, young and old, learn to read independently with high comprehension and develop a genuine enjoyment in reading, writing and spelling. The lessons present an orderly sequence of multisensory instruction designed to reach every avenue in learning. Important phonetic decoding concepts are taught with songs and an emphasis of individual growth and mastery achievement is promoted.

CERTIFIED TEACHERS facilitate the center, everyone is both teacher and student. Students teach other students as a reinforcement tool. Success is recognized at once and team involvement is encouraged. Also one on one teaching complements this unique approach.

SIMPLE TECHNIQUES WORK BEST. Learning the basic sounds of letters gives our students the tools to decode words for themselves. Our philosophy is simple, teach the basics. We allow our students to develop their skills through hearing, sight and interacting with sounds.

CLASS IS FUN. Our students discover that reading is fun. We have short periods of study, music and songs, as well as games and prizes. Adults as well as children participate with the games and music methodology to achieve success.

BEING ABLE TO READ proficiently will guarantee better grades in math, science, history, and English. It will increase you or your child's self-esteem as well.

The Reading Tree offers many benefits:

• By dedicating 2 hours a week for 10 weeks, students experience a shorter learning curve to reading proficiency.
